Have you ever wondered... Which web tool should I use? Does this work on ... device? Today we are sharing three ways to quickly find appropriate web tools for your students. Whether you are searching for device specific resources or for a web tool that focuses on a certain skill or product; here are three great places to find the right tool. App Recommendations for Mobile Devices  by edtechteacher Allows you to search educational apps by either device or learning activity. It gives a short overview of every app and a rating for ease of use by student and teacher. This resource does list free and paid apps.

Knowing what app to use for your desired learning activity that will work on the device you have is often a difficult question to answer. New apps are released daily and some apps are only available on certain devices. Ed Tech Teacher has created a great  App Recommendation tool  that is perfect to give you the apps you need for your device or desired learning activity. Remind 101

I want to share an excellent communication tool for parents and students called Remind 101. Remind 101 allows parents and students to subscribe to classroom updates via text message. It hides both your personal data as a teacher as well as the students and parents cell phone numbers.It is a very simple and easy to use communication tool. In a nutshell: --The service is free. Standard text messaging applies, which I guess could be a concern for anyone without unlimited texting. --It provides one-way text messaging (teacher>student group) to students who sign up for it (also email for students without text-capable phones) --Cell phone numbers are anonymous.
